Hans Kerkhoff
Hans Kerkhoff (31) & Raoul Maris (34) worked together as a creative team for 5 years. They started at advertising agency Duval Guillaume Brussels in 2007 and became Creative Directors of Boondoggle in 2012. Their love for comedy resulted in popular campaigns for Douwe Egberts, De Lijn, Milk and Sporza. In 2013 they decided to use what they’ve learned and loved in advertising and founded their own company: Gelotology.
Gelotology (meaning the study of laughter) is an independent comedy factory. Using “Fun beats boring any day” as their motto, Gelotology strongly believes in the power and influence that comedy can have on our daily lives. From entertainment to problem solving to education. Gelotology writes comedy for large audiences, such as television sitcoms, audio plays and apps. And -using technology as an inspiration source- it designs and prototypes products that make daily life more fun.
