Motion Graphics Lead and VFX Supervisor, SuperHeroes

Fred Huergo is Motion Graphics Lead and VFX Supervisor for SuperHeroes, an international, creativity-driven agency with a singular mission: to save the world from boring advertising.

Mexican-born and bilingually raised, Fred moved to the United States at the age of 18 to study Film production at the Savannah College of Art + Design. The fine balance between the artistic and the technical side of post production gave way to a much deeper inclination towards motion design.

Previous to joining SuperHeroes Fred has developed his curiosity and expertise in motion graphics at New York production studios Favorite Color and ID8 Creative. Working with the likes of HBO, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, PromaxBDA and Reuters, Fred combined motion graphics with live action shoots, applying creative approaches in the filmic as well as post-production side.

Now, forces have pulled Fred to the SuperHeroes secret hide-out in Amsterdam where he works with global brands such as Diesel, LG and Converse, blurring the lines between the creative and technical aspects of motion graphics. By moulding his artistic and technical skills together in his position as Motion Lead and VFX Supervisor, his work challenges the industry norm.
