Anner Tiete

Anner Tiete (1983) is a user experience designer and one of the founders of beyond.io, an Antwerp-based Research and Design Lab for hire.
beyond.io uses design & technology to craft things that intrigue and make people smile.

As a strategist with an eye for how people interact with technology, Anner has specific expertise in combining digital intelligence and connectedness with physical objects into amazing user experiences.

Anner started his education in the Product Design programme in Antwerp and graduated from the Design for Interaction masters course at the Delft University of Technology.
Before founding beyond.io, he worked in various design agencies on both physical products or software and has gained in-depth knowledge on the user experience of ubiquitous computing during a research project at HP Labs.
Lately with beyond.io, Anner helps clients research and materialise the opportunities for their business that come with the exciting mix of the connected digital and the physical world.
Examples of this are a 3D holographic game, an interactive foosball table or beyond.io‘s latest concept, X-II (www.x-ii.net), which is a novel way to discover music in this age of digital abundance.
